Seeed Wio-SX1262 Give a board you are designing a long-range LoRa radio for the price of a sandwich.
LoRa Radio LoRaWAN Long range
Radio equipment needs certification where you live (FCC, CE, UKCA, ISED, Anatel). Some devices are uncertified or restricted in Brazil. Buyers are responsible for their local law.
Bring along A host microcontroller with a free SPI bus, an antenna, and PCB layout that respects the reference design.
Keep in mind No processor, no antenna in the box, and nothing works until you write the driver or use a stack that has one.

Radio 5 Transceiver Semtech SX1262, a sub-GHz transceiver Modulation LoRa for low-power wide-area use and (G)FSK for legacy use Frequency Wiki states coverage from 868 MHz to 960 MHz; the store title advertises EU868 and US915 Transmit power Up to +22 dBm through an integrated power amplifier Bandwidth 7.8 to 500 kHz in LoRa mode Integration 7 Host interface SPI to an external microcontroller; the module has no processor of its own Antenna connector On-board IPEX connector; the -N variant instead has SMT-packaged RF pins and no IPEX connector Antenna design 50 Ω interface; the maker recommends reserving a π-type matching network Reference oscillator High-precision active TCXO, powered from DIO3 Power regulation The SX1262 supports DC-DC or LDO; this module uses the DC-DC design Intended use Maker names wireless meter reading, agricultural sensors and single-channel LoRaWAN gateways Price checked US$4.29 at the maker's store
No matching specification. Try a chip name, connector or feature.
What still needs checking The wiki page does not state the module's dimensions, pin pitch or receive sensitivity; those are in the separately linked datasheet. No current consumption figures are published on the wiki page itself.

Source & revision notes Maker listing checked Sep 18, 2026. Detailed documentation reviewed Sep 18, 2026. Not hands-on tested.
Price is a dated listing; confirm with the maker.
The store title advertises EU868 and US915 while the wiki states frequency coverage from 868 to 960 MHz. Which band you may legally transmit on is set by your country, not by the module.
This is a module, not a finished radio. It has no microcontroller, and does nothing until a host board drives it over SPI.
The variant matters: the maker states the -N version has SMT-packaged RF pins and no IPEX connector. The wiki writes this as 'Wio SX1272-N', which appears to be an error for SX1262-N.
The maker's reference design asks for a 50 Ω antenna interface with a π-type matching network reserved. Ignoring that will cost you range.
The wiki refers to the SMT-pin variant as 'Wio SX1272-N', which appears to be a typing error for SX1262-N. Check the part you are ordering.
Which of the supported frequencies you may legally transmit on is determined by your country's regulator, not by the module.
