**Open firmware.** Firmware (RRG/Iceman fork) is fully open, but no schematic or PCB source has ever been published for the RDV4 hardware revision itself.

_Notes:_ Searched extensively (web + gh api tree of RfidResearchGroup/proxmark3) for RDV4-specific hardware files; none exist. The repo's doc/original_proxmark3/proxmark3.sch + .brd (Eagle) are for the ORIGINAL pre-RDV4 Proxmark3 (AT91SAM7S64, no smartcard slot/FPC) and were deliberately excluded here since they don't represent the RDV4 revision actually sold. AT91SAM7S512/Spartan-II confirmed via secondary sources; microchip.com blocked automated verification of its own datasheet page in this environment, so no datasheet URL is included.
