## Blueprint

**Open firmware.** MonstaTek publishes full GPL-3.0 firmware source for the M1 on GitHub; no schematic, PCB, Gerbers, or 3D enclosure files are published anywhere for the hardware.

_Notes:_ Verified via `gh api` recursive tree of Monstatek/M1 (GPL-3.0 license): repo is pure STM32CubeIDE firmware (Core/, Drivers/BSP/Components/ST25R3916/, Battery/bq27421_golden_image.h, etc.) with a HARDWARE.md that only names the MCU/flash/package - no schematic, PCB, or CAD files exist in the repo or elsewhere on the Monstatek org (only other repo is MonstaTek-Esp32-Core, also firmware). ST25R3916 and BQ27421 parts confirmed present as driver folder/file names in the tree; ST7586S/display and MCU part per HARDWARE.md and README. Direct st.com/ti.com manufacturer pages were unreachable from this sandbox for TLS reasons (TI worked, ST did not), so Mouser distributor pages are used for the ST parts.
