## Blueprint

**Open firmware.** GL.iNet publishes GPL OpenWrt firmware and MT798x U-Boot source for the MT3000 on GitHub, but no PCB schematics, Gerbers or BOM; some vendor add-ons ship only as closed binaries.

_Notes:_ Listed all ~95 repos under github.com/gl-inet and ran GitHub code search across the org for 'schematic' and 'gerber' -- zero hits anywhere; no hardware directory exists. gl-inet/mt798x-boot's own description explicitly says 'U-BOOT for MT2500/MT3000/X3000/XE3000/MT6000', confirming it covers this device (bootloader source only). Also checked gl-inet/glinet4.x: its tree contains a pkg_config/gl_pkg_config_mt3000.mk entry confirming MT3000 support, but every other file in that repo is a precompiled .ipk binary package (the gl-sdk4-* vendor management/cloud/VPN add-ons) -- i.e. GL.iNet ships closed binaries for its own value-add software on top of the GPL OpenWrt base, so 'open-firmware' describes the base OS, not the whole shipped image. dl.gl-inet.com/router/mt3000/ (200) is a JS-rendered download center; could not enumerate its file listing via static fetch, but product/support docs give
