# ELLA-Box (migit)

> A pocket IoT gadget you build from an ESP32-C3 board, a 1.3-inch OLED with a rotary encoder, a buzzer and a vibration motor, in a 3D-printed case.

- **Category:** Multitools
- **Availability:** Availability unconfirmed
- **Good for:** Build a small menu-driven ESP32 gadget with haptics and a scroll wheel.
- **You'll need:** An ESP32-C3 board, the OLED-encoder module, buzzer, motor, LiPo and a 3D printer.
- **Trade-off:** Wired by hand; no radio features are used by the firmware yet.

## Blueprint

**Schematics published.** README embeds a rendered schematic diagram (image, not source) plus a full wiring list, and links a Thingiverse case; despite a CERN-OHL-S 'hardware' license badge, no KiCad/Gerber/BOM source file is actually in the repo.

### Key parts

| Part | Role | Datasheet |
|---|---|---|
| ESP32-C3 | MCU (RISC-V single-core, Wi-Fi/BLE) | https://www.espressif.com/en/products/socs/esp32-c3 |
| SH1106 | OLED display driver (1.3", 128x64) | https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/268/1/SH1106_datasheet-2278729.pdf |
| TP4056 | LiPo battery charger IC | https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/308/TP4056-1812969.pdf |

_Notes:_ Repo tree (gh api) has only Firmware/*.ino, LICENSE, and LICENSE-HARDWARE (CERN-OHL-S v2 text) - no .kicad_sch/.kicad_pcb/gerber/bom files exist despite the 'Open Hardware' badge and CERN-OHL-S file; the only schematic artifact is a rendered PNG image linked from the README, and the enclosure is a separately-licensed third-party Thingiverse upload, not part of the repo.
