Radio equipment needs certification where you live (FCC, CE, UKCA, ISED, Anatel). Some devices are uncertified or restricted in Brazil. Buyers are responsible for their local law.

Bring along
A board from the maker or your own build from the open files; Chrome or Edge to flash.
Keep in mind
Not on sale yet; the production board changes the microcontroller.

Open hardware

Full KiCad schematic/PCB, STEP 3D models, and (for the in-production Click 4 board) Gerbers/BOM/pick-and-place CSVs are public on GitHub for both the ESP32 prototype and RP2354A production revisions; enclosure is SolidWorks + exported STL.

Research notes

Verified via `gh api repos/prajjwalprajjwal/Click/git/trees/HEAD?recursive=1` (full hardware/ tree) and docs/hardware_and_pinouts.md content, cross-checked against the Tindie-style project site. Click 1 (ESP32-WROOM-32E) is the currently-active hand-assembled prototype; Click 4 (RP2354A) is the queued JLCPCB production revision -- both PCB folders and chips are real and present. Repo license is a custom CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 + CERN-OHL-NC-2.0 non-commercial license (personal/educational builds permitted, commercial manufacture reserved to the author) -- affects reuse rights, not the openness classification. ETA6003 battery-charger IC is also on both boards but no manufacturer-hosted datasheet could be verified, so it is left out of parts.

What still needs checking
  • No price, shop or delivery date exists yet; the site links only to GitHub and the flasher.
  • Battery capacity, dimensions and weight are not stated.
  • The 1.5 mA standby figure is the maker’s claim and was not measured.
  • Firmware for the Click 4 board is described as an adaptation still to come.
